Each ecommerce platform have pros and cons but by saying goodby magento is not a clever slogan while Magento leading the market. As some mentioned before, magento is not for entry level guys but advanced and complex system with all rich features and extentions. If you have small size business try presta and other same level software available on market but medium busnisesses and even large size businesses can use Magento without doubt. When you have got expertise in office you will definetely solve any problem you face with magento. i am not going to into such details of XML, Themes, Optimisation etc. but all I can say is that; magento is not that bad as mentioned here, it simply provides a platform fo all developers and business owners to make money. When I first involved in a magento project I was thinking exactly the same as "unhappy guys" here but once I get used to it by solving several problems I have faced, then I found out that magento is capable to do much lots than the others and of course it will consume so much resource while serving you so much on the table. ;)
